I have a couple of XBees on order from tech supplies however I forgot to order some PCB sockets for them:eek:. I am yet to make an order to rapid and I have a local maplins however I can only find 2.54mm pitch sockets. Does anyone know if the 2.54mm sockets are suitable, else where 2mm can be bought from?

No, 2.54mm sockets won't work, you need two sets of 10-way 2mm. Rev-Ed sell them as CON046.

2mm sockets won't of course fit bread-board or strip-board and you'll need a breakout board which puts the pins on 2.54mm pitch, but they will be okay for PCB's.
