What seem to be a silly question.

OK I have none of the newer Picaxes and was looking at the X models and it seems that none of them have I2C master capabilities. Am I missing something or is this the case. I have read the I2C tutorial and also the FAQ for the 18X 28X and 40X

All Xs, X1s and X2s have I2C support. No other PICAXEs do.

OK thanks folks. I thought it was a silly question but like I told my kid when they were young. The only stupid question is one that goes unasked. However one should ask it of themselves first

can the 18m2 use the hi2csetup slave mode command or is this justfor x2 picaxes

Only the X2's have I2C slave mode, the 18M2 does not.
