I have been using the propeller from parallax, its a good litle chip but it lacks the simulator that the picaxe has which i find realy terrific.

They both have there place but for some things one is better than the other. Like the prop has heaps of obects you can just download and use for many apps your tring to develop.

Wish picaxe had the same thing

f you just download most code like that, you don't learn anything. With PICAXE, you get code examples which are highly unlikely to be relevant to your project so you're learning in having to modify the code for your application.

So what's wrong with checking out the code snippets section? Much the same thing surely?

Come to think of it, it isn't really as there isn't a code snippet for everything.

The code snippets section and finished projects area could be more extensive and useful if:
1. More folks posted their projects and working examples
2. Used better titles/headings for all posts (to aid with later searches
