Stereo Cable

Hello Everyone,
I'm currently attempting to build an audio interface for my FT-60 amateur radio using the following plans http://www.jbgizmo.com/page28.htm. I was wondering if you had any thoughts on it and any ideas on where i could find a roll of headphone type cable. Basically a 2 conductor cable with a shield for roughly 15 dollars?

Just put some (cable only) in the round file here.

But if you do not want to drop in here

why not look at your local (-ish) electronics store. Some audio equipment stores would likely aready have pre-made cables to suit with say 3.5mm plugs on each end. Bought such a 10 metre cable a year back to run from a TV to an audio system.

A picaxe free circuit I see.

SM101: A whole roll ? You don't say length, but no doubt it's initially just " a few feet"? In this case perhaps just drop by a coin store & grab a cheap ($2 ?) stereo headphone - junk the headphone itself & just use the pre-wired 3.5mm plug & shielded cable.

Naturally ensure the plug shaft itself is sturdy however- I once had one break off deep inside a borrowed laptop earphone socket... Stan. (ZL2APS)
