Serial Comm/ADC

Hello Everyone,
I am trying to controll a adc channel with my pc.Everytime I connect then RCV line I don't get any adc reading.As soon as I disconnect the RCV line all works Ok.Is it not possible to do this? thanks

Do a search or look in the PDF files for the enhanced download circuit. Th down load lead can effect the ADC reading.

Thanks Rick.It still does it even if I disconnect the Serial connection.I'm using the picaxe Expiermenter board.

My next question is can I use the download circuit for the serial comms?
Nevermind. I did a little reading and I have to use the sertxd command to use the downoad circuit for serial comms.
