Ok, thanks was not so careful reading it the first few times . I gather I need to put #slot4 and have the eeprom connected to load it. Then it is useable with BOOTI2C command.Yes, it works a treat.
The external EEPROM is mapped to a #slot number, so you just put a #slot directive at the top of the code that you want to download to EEPROm..

Sure thing, point taken.It is worth having a play with #SLOT, RUN and BOOTI2c with some simpler SERTXD-style programs just to get a feel for it all before diving in with a more complicated program.
