RGB LED Control using RS232 (Serial)

Has anyone made any additional advances with the TLC 5940? I happen to pick up a couple from digikey.. and before I dig into it.. Di dint know if any of the advancements within the Picaxe chip (20x2) would change any of the hook ups or programming. I see the last post was 5 years ago... anything?

Any tips? haha

Have you tried a forum search for TLC5940?
There have been posts on that device up until quite recent - 6 threads active in 2012 and a total of 18 thread:

It's likely that only the user who initiated a search can come back and view their search results page again. If you make a search, log out (in a new tab) then refresh the search, you cannot see the search results anymore. Log back in and you can see the search results again.

The link does not work for me even after a period of time. Today, for example, the searchID value for the ssame search is totally different.

Sodeaf would have to start a new search using the search term TLC5940

Agree with you there too. I bookmarked a search earlier today to test and it no longer works.

I guess the forum software generates a temporary page of results with a unique ID, deleting it after a while.
