Programming editor crashing at launch

Yeah that is really hopeful.

Please people help me!

Or at least, give me some direction on how to program the damn thing without the Programming editor and the stupid audio jack.
I've installed the programming editor on every single one of my computers at home, none worked. I didn't even plug in anything or installed any USB driver, just the the programming editor program and that annoying error message just kept on appearing.

Clean start

Pathfinder.

You didn't say whether you deleted the old programs.
When problems have come up in the past, the recommended method is;

Check your system for "port grabbers" ; PDA's etc
Run a Registry Cleaner program.

1. In control panel, remove all instances of PE.
2. Restart thh computer.
3. Download a new copy of editor 5.1.6
4. Install

If this doesn't help, then I suggest you repost a message in the main forum.

I actually tried installing it on a fresh install of WinXP with basically nothing except SP2 and some drivers.

The strange thing is that it actually worked when first got it.
Some people have been asking this question, but there was no reply.

Maybe I will try posting it in the main forum.
