This isn't much of a project, but it may be of interest for its use of a LM317 as a constant current sink.

My LED Display which uses a second Picaxe to receive IR commands is giving me erratic behavior,
so I am planning to replace its circuit board with a new one with an Arduino, which reportable
handles IR inputs better than Picaxe, and is will be faster to re-write the 24-character alpha-numeric LED display.
