Program Editor Error?

I have just installed Crossover, a windows simulator program. I then installed the Program editor.
It opened but then came up with the following error:

Run-time error '335':
Could not access system registry

Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it?
Thanks

The error message refers to not being able to "access system registry" so I guess something has locked the registry or caused some other problem.

You can try re-booting, and if that doesn't fix it, uninstall Crossover, if necessary uninstall the Programming Editor and re-install again. Try installing Programming Editor then Crossover. If it comes to the worse it may be necessary to re-install Windows.

Aha ... "Crossover, a windows simulator program" is "Crossover, a program simulating windows", not, "Crossover, a simulator program which runs under windows".
