Preprogram of pin 6 toggle still there?

The last batch of 18x parts I got from Dr Anderson (phanderson.com) here in the US don't have the preprogrammed pulsing pin 0. My previous parts did, and so I have to ask: Are the 18x's still preloaded with a basic program to make pin 6 toggle? (This was a very nice feature to easily confirm a good working part.)

I'm having trouble with my USB serial link also, thus I went to some new parts to troubleshoot- and got no joy.

Now I can get back the the nightmare of W98 USB-serial troubleshooting!
