I recently received the Picaxe 28x2 chip and the 28A/28X/40X proto board kit. I am using the latest version of the programming editor (v 5.20) but it seems to not support the 28x2 chip. When attempting to run a most basic program, I keep getting an error dialog box telling me that the software interface is set to the wrong chip type and then asks me if I'd like to change now. I select "yes" but I see the 28x2 selection on the options dialog box is grayed out. I've confirmed I have the board's J1-J3 jumpers set correctly per the data sheet (all to the left - using serial cable with external 4.5V power supply).
Is there "other" programming software I should be using for this particular chip?
