PICAXE 18x and PCF8574P

hello, im again here to ask help...

how can i have comunication with pcf8574P. nobody use it before?
i never work with i2c comunication... can somebody help me?
thk. i find lot of people friendly and open to help other (like me) new in picaxe.

i need to connect pcf8574p IC with picaxe to read 4 inputs and have 4 outputs.

I can't help you myself but when I typed "pcf8574" into the forum search, it revealed about a dozen threads which included other's experiences including how address and set I/O pins. Well worth a read.

hey i'm working on i2c aswell, well kind of - i decided to just leave out the clock thing, and i am using minimum extra components, right now it is 2 08Ms connected with a wire but after fixing a few more problems i'll be using 5+ 08Ms and 18Xs going at once

im really stupid becouse dont try to miss specification of the IC.
