Hi everyone.
PE 5.5.5, was running fine last time I used it, and everything worked right, and I could program chips no problems.
Today, it just won't go past the splash-screen - it just stays there forever on top of everything else, and PE never finishes loading - I have to kill it in TM with End Task. No error message or anything, to hint as to what the issue is, just seemingly from one day to the next, won't complete the start-up process. No USB flash drives or AXE027 plugged in, tried a fresh re-boot of Win8, same problem.
I prefer the stable v5 for the moment, as PE6 is still Beta, but I might just have to try PE6.
Any hints or suggestions?
EDIT: Attempted a Repair install from the BAS805.exe file, and now it is working again - I wonder what upset it?(rhetorical)
