PCB Edge Clearence

Sorry for another none AXE related question, but does anyone have any knowledge on the minimum acceptable distance between the edge of a multi-layer PCB and a case wall (aluminium)?

Required clearances are relative to voltage to prevent sparks jumping the gap and things like corona at high voltages.
For 5Vdc assuming rigidly mounted boards with traces right to edge of the board the. even a couple of mm is sufficient.

A quick Google found this webpage with some trace to trace clearance details.

awesome, thank you Westaust55

It will be 12v I believe, with a PCB thickness of 1mm, and a edge to trace copper free zone of about 0.5mm. So I will try and match it up to the link you sent

Thank you again
