Front panels - if you're having PCBs professionally fabbed, then you could consider getting them to make a front panel for you (if you don't mind solder mask colours - but you can get red/black etc rather than the traditional green) - who says PCBs have to have tracks, SMD pads vias etc - why not just holes for switches/displays/etc and silk printing (including logos etc)
