Need circuit & code. Paying.

Hi there, I need a circuit and code fully designed for a home project. I am willing to pay via PayPal.

Required Functions:

  • Read the temperature in degrees C.
  • Display the temperature on a two digit, common cathode, multiplexed seven segment display.
  • Three temperature thresholds; lower, middle, and higher.
  • Turn off 12v fan when temperature falls below the lower threshold.
  • Turn on 12v fan when temperature rises above the lower threshold.
  • Sound an alarm when temperature rises above the higher threshold.
  • On/Off switch.

Optional Functions:

  • Menu for user to define threshold values.

I currently have the following components available:

  • DS18b20 Thermometer
  • Picaxe 28X1
  • Double-digit common cathode seven segment display
  • 5v voltage regulator
  • 12v fan
  • Buzzer
  • On/off switch
  • Several push-to-make switches
  • 50k variable resistor

Or just a schematic?
And code listing?

I'm sure someone will do it for a ton. Treble time on Bank holidays.

Funny you should say "a ton", my own guesstimate came in at $200 US :)

What sort of upper limit on payment were you thinking of ?

Do you have a pin-out and specification for the 7-segment display, plus the fan ?

Are there any restrictions on what components must be used; can additional components not on your list be used ?

The alternative to paying for a design is to do it yourself, although that obviously does require some more effort on your part.
