I note original post was in 2009 but your forum still seems to be suffering similar problems.
This is my 1st post so hope it works.
What does not work for me is accessing any links to pdf or bas files from the forum. I get the standard message
"You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:" etc etc

My posting permissions are :You may post new threads
You may post replies
You may post attachments
You may edit your posts

BB code is On
Smilies are On
code is On
[VIDEO] code is On
HTML code is Off

I initially set up my account with the shop not realising this did not give me any permissions on the forum

I do use a Gmail address so is this still a problem ? is so why not reject it on the application form

What operating system and browser are you using

Now that you are logged in you should be able to access picture and attachments.
We realise that registering on the forum is a little difficult, but that is quite deliberate as it is necessary to prevent spam/porn links appearing.

just found out can open attachments if they are thumbnails but still not pdf or bas files ?

Thanks for pointer to problem.

It is only on opera.

Can view all attachments on firefox,Chrome and even Edge.
