How to simulate Variable DC voltage

Hi
Could some one please enlighten me
On the VSM I would like to simulate a variable DC voltage eg 0v to 5v into a ADC input.
How do I do this?

This is a newbie for me and as per usual I'm starting in the dark

Try using a pot (in resistors/variable) with one end connected to the Vcc terminal, other end connected to gnd, and the middle to the adc pin. To vary its voltage, press the + and - buttons on it.

The ways I change DC voltage are:
1. Use a DC generator, edit properties and adjust the voltage.
2. Use a battery and edit the properties again.
3. For smaller voltages use insert a LDR1 component and adjust using the arrows.

Options 1 and 2 require to stop the simulation.
