How to develop a voice module using picaxe chip

friends, i don't have more knowledge about micro controllers .
can anybody guide me how to develop a programmable voice module using picaxe chip and spi flash memory chip through PE6 .As i want to develop such 25 numbers of modules as educational toys the USB030 will not economical for me . I found the voice module " WT588D " from Way Tronic attaining my application but i m interested to make through picaxe as it seems to be easy.
I m attaching the details of WT588D for reference.How to make and program such type of module .Plz guide

Looks like an interesting chip, I have not used the WT588D yet but I looked at them on Ebay. The minimal board shown in your photo is as little as $3.45 USD. I just ordered the next level board up with a USB connector, which was ~$7.25 shipped. So I can't help you right away, but I'll be experimenting with it when it arrives in 2 weeks.
