has anyone used the SD20

has anyone used the SD20 servo controller chip available from robot electronics.

im currently using the sd21 servo controller, but was wanting to make my own board and not require using the readyu made one and interfacing it.

is it possible to interface via the i2c bus, bearing in mind the registers are diffenrent on the sd21, and require writing too, does anyone know how to write to registers using i2c onto another chip?

i will have a look myself, but any other help is greatfully recieved

Not used it myself but looks straightforward enough.
I2C control at address $C2 similar to a memory device.
Expanded mode (outside normal servo range) looks a little more complex but a good read of the manual should clear that up.
