dorji modules low voltage

Has anyone ever user the dorji 433mhz modules at 3volts without the antenna? I need to use a coin battery to power the transmitter and 3.7 volts on the receiver. I am wondering what kind of range I would get at this voltage with no antenna attached on the transmitter or receiver.

Do you mean their ASK ones (as outlined =>http://www.picaxe.orconhosting.net.nz/DORJI_433ASK.pdf )? The TX will run fine at 3V, but the RX may protest if that 3.7V drops even a tad. Ranges without antenna 10s of meters OK. However suggest you specify the application, TX duty cycle and RF environment.

Ah- isn't 433 MHz not a US legal frequency for significant powers (10s of mW) ?
