Diptrace Problem

I am trying to do a PCB design for a Picaxe project, however I seem to be getting unwanted objects on my artwork.

Some were crosses, which I got rid of by not showing the component outline reference, a pain because I had to right click on so many resistors to hide their outline references.

My problem at the moment is to get rid of this



The image shown is when that section of the drawing is highlighted otherwise I get a greyed out cross

I am puzzled by two things. First, why did you post this question on the PICAXE form instead of the DipTrace forum? And I am a fairly experienced DipTrace user, and would be glad to try to help, but I don't understand the problem. Normally, it is the component pattern that controls what is shown on the PCB. I suspect that is where your problem may be coming from. Did you create your own patterns, or are you pulling them from a stock library?

Thanks, Sorry. The area is just a group of pads. Will goto forum next time or if nobody knows.
