Cheap GPS module

Seeing is believing.

Its a Sirf III based receiver, which currently cost about £10 off eBay in one-off.

But receivers are not terribly useful on their own, you need to add an antenna to get a signal into the receiver.

Not sure how practical adding an antenna is for the average enthusiast, doubt a bit of wire is good enough.

Well, as that company seem to be antenna specialists I can't see that being a problem :)

Go on, dare you, email the Company....

Absolutely!
At the outrageous cost of $3 each I think they should come round and do my CAD and code, make the PCBs and wash my car too ;)

I already have 20 or so of the more expensive sort of GPS units that I haven't figured out how to decode as yet, so I'd better just pass on these.

Nah, at that price I'm sure you can persuade everyone to buy at least two, or even three. So you're down to under 5K people. Surely you know 5,000 people who are looking for a good deal on a GPS unit.
