I hadn't noticed any. Could you indicate what you think that error may be or why you think it's wrong then we can check to see if there is an error or not.

The problem which I see is that the specified battery holder spans the two outer solder pads which are at the same polarity (a short circuit!). I believe that the center pad and one of the outer pads should be connected together, this would allow different sizes of battery holder to be fitted.

I believe the tracks are correct. Both outer pads are to give a good connection to the specific battery holder used, and if the centre pad were connected to one of the outer pads there would be a dead-short of the battery through the battery holder itself.

I own two AXE091 boards.

The clock chips are powered by a CR032, in a
BAT004H-SM holder
(See p.2 and 8 of the AXE091 manual)

The two outer “arms” connect to DS1307 Vbat.
The PCB square pad connects to Gnd.

Both AXE091 clocks work perfectly.

Please test the connections, using your DMM.

Sorry I didn't know that the BAT004H Sm would be so different to the battery holders available to us locally sorry for the confusion.
