#adc on 40x2

hello
I want to choose an ADC into 40X2, but there's only 4 adc proposed by logicator. 40x2 has 12 adc...

Is it normal?

Logicator imposes restrictions like this as it is designed for educational use. Generally, if you need more than Logicator provides, it's time to change over to code. A BASIC cell or analogue multiplexer like 4097 will allow you more analogue inputs, the latter using three outputs and 2 ADC but gives you 16 analogue inputs.

A CD4051 will also work for 8 inputs it has 3 Binary Control (3V to 15V Max) for the Logic for the '4000 series Cmos) and 8 +/- 5V Analog inputs. The data sheet is here http://www.datasheetcatalog.org/datasheets/208/109138_DS.pdf
+/- Bipolar inputs require a bipolar +/- 5V Power Supply (Vdd +5V and Vee -5V Vss Gnd) Hope this helps...
