Hi Animal,

Looks good and a great idea.

Have a question though.
Input 3.3 to 'Max Volts', (i.e. the supply voltage)
and,
3.15 to 'Voltage level', (what I expected to be the ADC value)

The Volts on ADC show as 4.7727

So I guess I'm not sure exactly what those cells mean. Could you please explain.

Also I found (by mistake) that if you double click on the brown calculated cells then you get a few strange things happening (Div/0 etc).

Thanks.

Minimum Max Volts= 5 : i will fix for lower voltages

INPUTS:
8/10bit= ADC resolution
Max Volts =Maximum Scaled Volts
Voltage Level=Voltage to be Measured

RESULTS:
bit Value=ADC value of Voltage Level
Resolution=Smallest Measureable voltage
Volts on ADC=Volts on ADC Pin w/Voltage Divider Values

Voltage Divider=10k Total

tHANKS FOR rEPLY

Thank you

Saves a lot of time.

I don't have Excell but it opens and works in Open Office (freeware.)

wondering

I everybody
just a question for the experts, what appens if the voltage on a ADC pin of a PICAXE goes to more than 5 volts and how much more can it absorb before it blows out?
