I am building a simple buzzer.
I have a sound generating PCB mounted kit which makes some great sounds.
I really want to connect it to one output on my 28x chip and use it in my project.
The problem is the sound generator runs on a 9v battery which i know would damage the chip.
I read that my 28x project board can run two different power supplies at the same time. Has any one done this??

With appropriate capacitors eg 33uF and 0.1uF. Either a 7805 or a 7805L (just watch the pinouts as they are different for these two regulators).
