2.3" alphanumeric LED - where from?

If you just want normal 7-segment rather than alphanumeric, old digital alam clocks are a good source but they usually have a somwhat awkward two-phase multiplex ( 16 anode / 2 cathode or so ).

Have you tried e-bay? I,ve seen some large displays on there in the past...mostly shipped from China I believe

...err, no - I want alphanumeric not 7-segment. Hence the post ;)

....and Futurlec don't seem to do the large size :(

I'll look on eBay, but any keep coming with any ideas

Didn't see that you can buy direct :)

$5.17 ea. by the way.....not a bad price, although shipping is the same price as buying nearly 3 more (so I bought more than 1 to make it less of an overhead!)
