    All, I am thinking about making a binary clock using the PicAxe. I have already written the code in Basic, just no PicAxe Basic. But my real question is, where do I get my time source? It's a lot easier with a software program, cause you always have the computer's clock right there handy...

    Why would one use a PIC vs PICAXE?

    I'm curious, why does one pick the PIC vs the PICAXE? Is it just Basic vs Assembler? Is Assembler that painful to learn? If one already knew Assembler, would they even bother with the PICAXE? Thanks, John
