Which PICAXE chips and dev boards are supported by VSM

I am about to purchase PICAXE VSM but haven't found a definative list which chips and boards are supported. It says on the website that:

"Every single PICAXE project kit manufactured by Revolution is simulated via a file that can be downloaded free of charge from the PICAXE website (www.picaxe.co.uk). So all PICAXE project boards and kits can now also be simulated on-screen!"

but i can't where these files on the picaxe website?

Specifically, i would like to use the 18M2 chip in a PICAXE-18 Standard Project Board.

Does anyone know if this is possible/available?

Thanks
Robert

Welcome to the PICAXE forum!

They are currently working on a new (very overdue) VSM release to support the X2 and M2 parts, but they are not available in the current release.

The file you're referring to may be the VSM download on www.picaxevsm.com.

The moderators may be able to provide more information on which chips and boards are simulated.

So when is the new version for M2 parts supposed to be available? It seems there is no set date which means it really may be at anytime (sooner than later?).
