I just spotted this array of 30 or more sensors/input devices etc.

It says they are for Arduino (but who cares), they all have SIL Pins for connection.

Breadboard friendly, I can see Stan's ears twitching already.

A good selection for beginners.

The fun part of this ebay stuff is that this is likely a standard kit, put together by one company. A bunch of resellers pick it up...and the price war begins!

On the same page as your link, under "People who viewed this item also viewed..." are two links to the same kit at lower prices. You can tell they're all the same, they just cut and paste the description to their page. Basically, someone else is willing to lose margin to get the sale.

It's a neat idea. I built my own version of similar interface modules on veroboard / stripboard using screw terminals so I could quickly connect things together. Since I have had an AXE091 Development Board I haven't had much use from them.

Sparkfun sells some sensor kits as well... so much good stuff so little time!
