copied and pasted from word. Links work in word BUT IN FORUM POST DONT?

Last nights Google efforts took me to hack a day and this? http://hackaday.com/2008/09/25/web-s...s-card-part-2/ and while it uses surface mount components, is unlikely to be beyond this forums skills? A rough calculation on the BoM is £25 inc VAT. + PCB which can be home etched? It uses the freely available Microchip TCP/IP stack.

The Hack a Day then links to this? http://dangerousprototypes.com/2009/...-web-platform/

And then to this this? http://www.seeedstudio.com/depot/web...ml?cPath=61_68 at USD 37 assembled?

Is this room for ... ?

Not sure if you've solved the problem but if you look at your links copied and pasted from Word they appear in your post as ...

http://hackaday.com/2008/09/25/web-s...s-card-part-2/

The forum software normally stores the full URL but presents it as a shortened URL with ellipses (...) so links don't make the page too wide. In this case it seems the link stored has already been shortened so is incorrect. Not sure why that would be.

Pasted from web browser address bar ...

http://www.techsupplies.co.uk/epages/Store.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Store.TechSupplies/Products/BOT120

Pasted into Word, then copied and pasted to here ...

http://www.techsupplies.co.uk/epages/Store.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/Store.TechSupplies/Products/BOT120

Seems to be working for me.
