Surface Mount Picaxe

Does Picaxe have any plans to provide their chips in surface mount (SMD) versions? I'm darn near 70 so I can't wait too long.

On that page, it says:
"All chips are available in both DIL and surface mount formats."

I tend to agree with Chris.

Yes Buzby, that's my point.

By the way, my need for a 08M2 in SMD package is because I purchased an electronic bicycle horn on ebay. It's controlled by an 8pin (SMD) uC that produces 5 sounds and 1 tune; none of which I like much. So my plan is to replace the uC with a 08M2/AXE007M2SM with my own programmed sounds and tunes. This horn is so inexpensive that I have no reservations about butchering it a bit.
