PIcaxe with a USB Flash disk

Just found this on the web and what I have “quickly” read into this is it can communicate via TTL ASCII code.

Here is the unit:

I must say that I do like the look of the new packaging, so much easier to (badly) cut a hole in a plastic case and still get a nice looking finished project.

I've been thinking about investigating VMUSIC to build a home MP3 player with a PICAXE as it's a third of the price of SPE020 and massive USB-Drives are getting ridiculously cheap. Anyone done anything with PICAXE and VMUSIC ?
