PICAXE freebies

I have 4 serial download leads going spare since our school went USB. Two are the original flat cable type with the 3-pin header type connector (Useful for breadboarding) and 2 with the 3.5mm stereo plug.

I would initially like to offer them to any UK school interested but any UK forum member can put in a request.

I know these are not particularly expensive direct from Rev-Ed. but these are free just the cost of postage.

Contact me through the private messaging service if you are interested. The closing date for requests will be 23:59 6th March 2009. Recipients will be drawn from a hat if necessary.

Nice thought & I'm sure it'll be taken up! However I'd advise you to hang on to at least one, as you can't beat the reassurance of direct serial links when USB (or otherwise) problems arise. Numerous "oldie but goodie" laptops of course are still great for PICAXE work, & usually feature a D9 serial too. Stan
