Hello all,

I have published the new firmware and PC software version as well as the step-by-step description of the upgrade. I also put the schematic and layout of all the scope versions online. Main benefits are:

- screen update rate almost twice as fast (on my laptop, 11 frames/sec vs. 6 frames/sec when displaying a single channel).

- greatly reduced noise doe to removal of MAX232 interface (V1.0 scopes never had that issue because they don't have the MAX232)

- stabler operation at slow sample rates (no more underclocking / serial data rate switching).

- some minor improvements to the GUI (up/down controls for sample rate etc.; tooltips).

The interesting pages are here:

As usualy, I am glad for any kind of feedback - please let me know if something on my webpage is confusing, incomplete, has broken links etc., as well as any bug reports and feature requests for the new firmware and PC software (I have tested it to the best of my knowledge, and my scope has been running without any crash for several days, but there are always things that can slip through).

Good luck with the upgrade!

Wolfgang
