A long time ago I bought a BAS800 programmer but have not used it much, it only programs a limited range of quite ancient pic's and I have never got it to work with programing editor on anything above windows XP. The programmer is quite well made and seems quite a complex build for the job, it's a shame to bin it, has anyone ever managed to hack/update one of these beasts or find any other software that it would run on. Mine did not come with a schematic which I thought was rather unsporting I'm guessing if PE6 ever gets the convert basic to assembly function they will probably either go for something cheap like a pickit2 or bootloader like arduino.
