PCB software

"Limited" is sometimes a rather broad term - I used the free version of DipTrace for a double-sided board with a 28 pin chip, a 40 pin chip and maybe a half dozen smaller "glue" chips. I think the version I used was "limited" to 300 pins.
Very good tool ;-)

Hi,
Your needs?
Design small single or double sided PCB or more complex and/or larger circuits?
Free or what maximum price do you agree to pay?

EasyEDA is a free circuit layout and PCB program which is associated with JLCPCB. PCBs less than 100mm by 100mm cost me $4.20USD for five including shipping (and a $.50 Paypal charge).

There's always a learning curve, but to me, EasyEDA is far easier and more intuitively Windows-like than EagleCAD, for instance (there's no longer a free edition of that).

I originally used Eagle but when it stopped being free, I switched to DesignSpark. It can be a bit quirky, and the different versions are not always backwards compatible, but as far as I know there are no serious limitations regarding size. Its routing algorithm is not as good as Eagle's but it's still been good enough for me.

There's also KiCAD, which is open source, so free and unlimited. It's supported by CERN and others, so it gets used for real projects.
