OT, Basic for Android

No, haven't tried it yet but the author certainly has many years of experiences. Having written Atari Basic and Apple Dos 3.1 for example. Probable worth visiting the Android Basic! forum to see what has been achieved with it.

Lost my programming virginity on Atari 800XL BASIC!!!!

Still love tinkering around with the Atari emulator(http://atari800.sourceforge.net/) and running all my classic games, which I made images of from the original FLOPPY floppies - the 5" ones!!!

Atari 8-bit computers used 6502 CPU running at 1.8MHz with 64KB of RAM and I am pretty sure the BASIC ROM was 16K...

The PICAXE 08M default speed is 4 times as fast as the Atari's 6502.

If this guy who wrote Atari BASIC is involved in the Android thing, might just have to check that link out...
