Neat little COM port real time graph tool

I used to use the shareware Sigmaplot , but these days I am back to Excel using HID .... The uC creates a virtual keyboard over USB.

There once was a VBA add-on for Excel that allowed a com:x port to be attached... Then one could simply use the full power of Excel. Still, the link looks interesting, so I may give 'er a try.

(... Remember the DOS days when we would just assemble a TSR to do this!)

Thx for posting

I tend to just use the [F9] Datalink feature in the PE.
Have the picaxe send the data across to the PC and the save from the Datalink capture as a CSV file. The as mrbunette does, use Excel to read in the data file created by the PE and use the graphing functions in Excel.
seems easy enough in Excel to add Legends and axis titles.
