Makita drill Picaxed

Hello all,
here is my small picaxe project. Recovery of a 20 year old 7,2V Makita drill.
First I replaced the old Nicads to 5Ah LiPo cells (two in series),
then try to make a PWM speed controller with 08M2.
First challenge been how to put them all together because there is not enough place.
I mod the trigger switch and add a small microswitch to controll Picaxe electronics.
For speed controll sensor I used a linear Hall effect sensor and neodymium magnet glued in to the modded trigger.
The Picaxe controls the speed of motor by reading the trigger position and generate the PWM signal. Next feature is
motor braking if I release the trigger the motor stops immediately. Next option is battery protecting for discharge
below 5,8V. If battery voltage reached 5,8V stops the motor and using PWM to generate warning beeps via motor.

The picaxed Makita now have a some new functionality, and I hope to use them for next 20 years in my hobby :).

Btw. Hippy thanks for helping me with the code for the value conversion. Your code is clever.
