Hello,
I have from Farnella LCD i2c Batron BTHQ21605AV-YETF-LED04-I2C and no functions.

Other LCD i2c second producers function with Picaxe 40x2 normally.

Thanks Jan

Welcome to the PICAXE forum.

Since you seemingly have already made an atempt to use this i2c comms based LCD module please post your schematic and program code so far.

We need to know how you have connected pin DB3 as in i2c mode this becomes an address bit for the i2c slave addess (%011111 SA0 R/W).

Here is the datasheet for the Philps based controller: http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/312175.pdf

That would be this device from Farnell.

Has anyone any experience and is it perhaps compatible with the AXE033, albeit with an extended display.

it does seem to be a big ask. The user instructions at the link above are enough to fry a few brain cells.

Sorry WestAust55 I was trying to assist, but you got there way before me, just to take some mystery out of the pseudo link orginally supplied.
