Hi,
Compilers working successfully under Kubuntu Linux 8.04 using Kate editor.
Machine setup:
Dell Inspiron 6400/E1505;
Intel Pentium dual-core processor T2060 (1.6GHz);
2.0GB RAM;
120GB hdd
Generic Prolific PL2303 USB to Serial adapter.
No configuration was required for the USB to Serial adapter. As soon as it was plugged in it showed up as /dev/ttyUSB0.
Tested a couple of .bas files both for syntax check and download to chip and both worked as expected.
