"revolution' the PICAXE Newsletter Q1 2009, under the heading PICAXE GETS ICE, advises this feature is now available through the "connect' menu within the Simulate menu. However, the latest version 5.2.6 of Programming Editor continues to advise this feature is not yet available with this version.

What is the position with this feature. Is a patch required to enable its use?

It is currently available to logicator users, but not to PE users (yet). Hopefully it will be here soon!

ICE is supported by Logicator for PIC and PICAXE micros and will be supported by the Programming Editor in due course.

The newsletter clearly states "ICE is now available in both the 'PICAXE Programming Editor' and 'Logicator for PIC' software products. Free upgrades are available for download from www. picaxe.co.uk." The media section appears to be anticipating Technical developments.

I have tried ICE with logicator and cannot get it to work. Has anyone out there tried ICE with success?
