Help cant run AXEpad on 64 bit computer

Hi there all.
I have a 32 bit laptop at work and AXEpad runs ok.
My 64Bit Computer at home i have un compressed it as i did at work and when i click on the icon nothing happens.
Is there a 64 Bit version out there.
I am a very new to Linix. 10 Days old

I am using Linux Mint 14.

Andy, I recently had a similar problem, which I have now fixed with assistance from hippy:

Unfortunately I use ubuntu and have never used mint, but I know the two are closely related in the linux familly tree.
