westaust55,
Thank you for your warm welcome. I have several PICAXE 20M2 chips on order and am really looking forward to exploring their capabilities.
I am already considering ordering some of the other varieties of PICAXE chips.

I have been reading the PICAXE manuals and am impressed with apparent ease of use and powerful command set.

I have already recommended the PICAXE to a friend who has no experience with microcontrollers but is an experienced programmer.

I have already found a couple of PICAXE forum members that I know from other forums. One of them told me that this is a friendly, helpful group.

I have added more links and images relating to the PICAXE on my web site.
