Error: Can't open port COM1.

I am trying to program my Simon Game with the AXE027 but an error comes up;

Error: Can't open port COM1.

Anyone got an answer why this comes up?

Most likely the problem is that you have not selected the COM port to which your AXE027 is referenced as. COM1 is unlikely to be the port of the AXE027 and may not exist on your PC.

For PE5 use File -> Options menu to select the correct port.

For PE6 change the COM POrt setting in the Workplace Explorer.

You need to have installed the AXE027 drivers before you can use the cable or select its COM port.
