Editing Properties of diodes

Hello

I am a bit stuck. I am trying to simulate a circuit for a friend that is taking an electronics class to show the concept better. Here is the question http://web.njit.edu/~levkov/classes_files/ECE271/test_samples.html , it is problem 3 under test 1. I am trying to simulate part A. I did the calculation by hand and found that D2 is on and D1 is off. Since this is supposed to be an ideal diode, the current through D1 is 0A and for D2 it is 0.7A. The voltage of D1 measuring anode to cathode is -0.3V and since D2 is a short it is 0V. Now when I try to simulate all of this using a digital model of the diode, it does not seem to work. I also want to simulate part B and the question state that it has a 0.6V per diode when they are in and open reverse bias. How can I edit the properties of the diode so that I show the right results?
