Deleting your own post

Just read a post saying "Deteted - already answered"

Thought you could delete your own post after you had put it up.

You cannot delete the first post in a thread that you have started, nor can you change the thread title.

You can delete any subsequent post you start in any thread and also correct the post title.

If you need to further change something the forum Moderators can help you

Also, if it's the one I've just read, the post which states "Deteted - already answered" has not actually been deleted. It's been EDITED by the poster.

Either way, as Westy states, you can both edit and delete your own posts with the caveats mentioned.
